About This Place
Games are not just entertainment. They are parables, rituals, and mirrors — spaces where we encounter grief, wonder, community, and transcendence, often without even realizing it. For me, gaming has always been about entering another world and story, and finding your place in it. The deeper I go into these worlds — cozy or otherwise — the more I find very human and sacred questions waiting there: about life, about God, about our connection to one another.
I'm Cozy Tea Pastor, a United Methodist pastor who believes that just as we read scripture to hear God speaking into our world and our lives, we can bring that same attentiveness to the games we play. These stories are not separate from the spiritual life — they are part of it. They can illuminate grace, name our longings, and remind us we are not alone.
Cozy Tea Church exists to explore all of that together. Pull up a chair. The tea is warm, the fire is on, and you belong here.
